Content Creator Day at the Trop was basically: give a bunch of local creators way too much access and see what happens.

We got on the field. Hit batting practice. Ate everything in sight. Made enough content to annoy our own camera rolls. Very professional. Extremely controlled.

Honestly, if this is what networking looks like now, fine. We’re in.

Pull up. Back the trailer in. Launch the jet ski. Go enjoy the water like this is still Florida.

Skyway Beach appears to be operating under a fairly complicated system called “just go have fun.”

No committee meeting required. No existential crisis over a personal watercraft. Just sunshine, saltwater, and people minding their own business. Meanwhile, somewhere a little farther north, a clipboard just got nervous.

Clearwater City Council voted 3-2 to vacate part of South Garden Avenue for the Church of Scientology’s planned development.

Residents responded by doing the most civic thing possible: collecting 10,863 petition signatures. Save the Garden says the signatures are now being verified. If enough are valid, the council would have to reconsider the ordinance, with a voter referendum possible if it stays in place.

So yes. A single block of road now has a whole plotline.

The Tampa Bay Rays are officially the 2026 AL East Champions, clinching the division Tuesday night with a 6-1 win over the Yankees at 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 Yankee 👏🏻 Stadium 👏🏻

Drew Rasmussen carried a no-hitter into the seventh, struck out 11, and Yandy Díaz drove in four runs as Tampa Bay handled the part where New York had to stand there and watch the celebration happen in its own building.

It’s the Rays’ fifth AL East title and their first since 2021. They also locked up the No. 1 seed in the American League, which means playoff baseball is coming back to the Trop with home-field advantage on the Rays’ side.

Fort De Soto gave us a perfectly normal beach day right up until two manatees decided to make things a little too National Geographic After Dark.

Our beach queen Heidi caught the whole thing, because of course she did.

Nature is beautiful. Nature is peaceful. Nature also apparently has absolutely no shame.

What happens at Fort De Soto stays on Facebook. Mostly.

Matt Yingling caught the marina looking completely unbothered. No ripples. No drama. Just sitting there reflecting on things in a healthy, productive way.

Wonder what that feels like… Must be nice 🤪
