Longoria

weekend
packed

of
Fame
induction,

the
retirement
of
the
most
famous
No.
3
in
Rays
history.
Naturally,
St.
Pete
turned
it
into
a
neighborhood-wide
celebration.
Ferg’s
displayed
a
Longo-inspired
art
installation
before
the
game,
then
hosted
Tantric
after
Sunday’s
finale.
Yes,
the
band
behind
“Down
and
Out.”
Yes,
the
walk-up
song
immediately
started
playing
in
your
head.
The
number
may
be
retired,
but
the
Longo
Hawk
remains
spiritually
active
throughout
the
Burg.

A
77-year-old
Florida
woman
received
a
new
license
plate
reading
“SQZ
A55,”
valid
for
the
next
ten
years.
She
took
one
look
and
said
absolutely
not.
Her
89-year-old
neighbor,
however,
reviewed
the
plate
and
simply
said,
“Good.”
Apparently,
the
men
in
her
retirement
community
are
big
supporters
of
government-issued
romance.
Broward
County
offered
her
a
free
replacement,
but
the
damage
is
done.
Grandma’s
car
has
game
now,
and
Florida
taxpayers
made
it
official.
